Automated phone payments increase data security

As announced in March and continued through September, all phone payments must be made through an automated system rather than a live person effective September 6. TCEC is making this change as part of its commitment to become 100 percent compliant with Payment Card Industry security standards for the protection of consumers’ data during financial transactions.

credit card security imageMembers who request to make a payment when talking with a member service representative will be transferred to an automated system to do so. To call the automated payment system directly, members can call 844-203-6547.

Other payment options are still available, including AutoPay, SmartHub, PaySite Kiosks, Mail and In Person.
