Co-op Connections: Dizzy B's Convenience Store, Guymon
Dizzy B’s in Guymon is more than a convenience store. It’s a breakfast, lunch and happy hour stop. Owners Lowell and Jennifer Williams go beyond the traditional to offer more for their customers.
That could be one reason why they joined the TCEC Co-op Connections Card program, offering 10 percent off their lunch specials, which are served Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members should show their card when ordering to receive the discount. Specials vary daily.
“We strive for good, friendly service,” said Jennifer Williams. “If a customer asks for something, we try to get it. One customer said he liked pellet ice for soft drinks. When we replaced our ice machine, we bought one with pellet ice.”
Lowell Williams said they take pride in their clean establishment. “I was on the road for many years and saw a lot of gas stations. We like to keep ours clean.”
Dizzy B’s has 100 percent gas as well as 10 percent ethanol fuel. It’s four pumps are available 24 hours.
In addition to weekday lunch specials, Dizzy B’s offers homemade breakfast seven days a week. Their selection includes biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos and biscuits with sausage or sausage, egg and cheese.
The store offers happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday with any size fountain drink for $1.
Dizzy B’s is frequently number one in lottery sales in Oklahoma.
