College costs add up. If you’d like help cutting those costs, consider the TCEC scholarship to Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) in Goodwell.
For example, one credit hour at OPSU for an in-state resident is $154 without fees. The TCEC scholarship is $1,200. The scholarship covers more than 7 hours of tuition alone.
Panhandle State Foundation administers the TCEC scholarship. Visit the OPSU website at www.opsu.edu for a scholarship packet. Applications are generally accepted from December 1, 2017, through February 15, 2018.
TCEC scholarship recipients must meet three requirements, although other factors are also considered by the Foundation.
- Entering freshman or returning sophomore
- 3.00 GPA or higher
- Parent, guardian or applicant must be a member of the cooperative in good standing
Golden Spread Electric Cooperative Scholarship
As a member of TCEC, you and your dependents can apply for the Golden Spread Electric Cooperative $2,000 scholarship to colleges in Oklahoma and Texas.
Golden Spread Electric Cooperative supplies wholesale power to TCEC and our members.
The scholarship deadline is March 1, and applications should be made directly to the Opportunity Plan. The application and brochure can be found on Golden Spread’s website at www.gsec.coop.
