Oklahoma Living magazine recognizes TCEC communicator
OKLAHOMA CITY - JuliAnn Graham, TCEC communications coordinator, recently received recognition in the 2015 “OKIES” statewide awards program, sponsored by Oklahoma Living magazine and the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives. Graham received an Award of Excellence in the Best Lead category for “Lights Out,” a feature on the Okie-Tex Star Party held in Kenton, Okla.
The annual OKIES awards competition recognizes the outstanding journalism efforts from Oklahoma Living magazine contributors. Professional media judges examined entries in 10 categories. Contest participants submitted 34 entries in the competition, now in its third year.
“Our freelance writers and photographers are a crucial part of the magazine each month,” said Anna Politano, Oklahoma Living magazine editor. “We are grateful for JuliAnn Graham’s excellent work and her passionate dedication to showcasing cooperative members in the Oklahoma Panhandle.”
A special banquet honored the award recipients in Oklahoma City, Okla. on October 23. Winning entries were displayed during the event.
