TCEC Electrical Safety Month Poster Contest Winning Entries

May is National Electrical Safety Month, which TCEC commemorates with a contest for schoolchildren. This year’s poster contest theme was pad-mounted transformer safety. The contest is held in April so the winners can be announced in May. Schools with third through sixth grades were provided with 11x17 cardstock for students to submit their poster design to TCEC.  Winners in each grade will be awarded a $25 gift card for first place and a $10 gift card for second place.

The 2017 winners are:

3rd Grade 1st place: Julius Villarreal, Academy School

3rd Grade 2nd place: Brithanney Pancha, Hooker School

3rd Grade Honorable Mention: Keily Rosales, Academy School and Hunter Ray Hooker School

4th Grade 1st place: Daniela Guzman, Academy School

4th Grade 2nd place: Tyerin Aranda, Academy School

4th Grade Honorable Mention: Aracely Aragonez and Emma Moore, Academy School

5th Grade 1st place: Gaby Uribe, North Park School

5th Grade 2nd place: Gaytan Ramos, North Park School

5th Grade Honorable Mention: Jazmine Chavez, North Park School

6th Grade 1st place: Holden Williams, Northridge Christian School

6th Grade 2nd place: Cameron Gossman, Tyrone School

6th Grade Honorable Mention: Henry Guenther, Northridge Christian School
