TCEC outage count continues to drop

Wednesday’s power restoration efforts reduced the outages to below 2,300 from the highest of 17,000. TCEC will continue to do aerial damage assessment weather permitting to areas unreachable due to the Tuesday evening rains.

Thirty-one mutual aid and contractor crews including TCEC crews continue restoration efforts despite weather. The number of verified destroyed and damaged poles has risen to 1,200.

Intermittent outages will continue as repairs are done on the system to safely restore power to other areas. TCEC employees are truly humbled by the many supportive comments coming from the members.

TCEC will continue to post regular updates with videos and photos to its Facebook page during the storm repairs. To view them, go to: Like the page to stay informed.
