Wanted: High school juniors and 8th graders to take all-expense paid trips

Don’t miss the January 25 deadline to apply for three amazing trips from TCEC. Applying is simple and going is free, there’s no catch because these trips are from your local electric cooperative.

Three high school juniors will be awarded trips to Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. from June 10 - 16. Two more will be awarded the opportunity to go to Leadership Camp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, from July 16 - 22. Four eighth graders have the chance to go to YouthPower Energy Camp nestled in Red Rock Canyon at Canyon Camp, near Hinton, Oklahoma, from May 31 - June 3.

Exciting parts of the Washington D.C. trip will be meeting great people from 50 different states and touring the national’s capital. Students will experience the trip of a lifetime.

Steamboat Springs is an unforgettable destination. How often do opportunities arise to interact with NFL football players and other well-known leaders, go whitewater rafting, and enjoy the Rocky Mountains in the best scenic area?

Eighth graders will learn the ropes of cooperation at Energy Camp. They will also be able to try being a lineman, experience the ropes course, and meet new friends.

Applications were mailed to all school counselors and are also available online from tcec.coop at these links:
