Oklahoma Youth Power Energy Camp

What it is: Essay contest where two students from within Tri-County Electric’s service territory who write winning essays go on a four-day trip, May 31- June 2, 2011, to Canyon Camp outside of Hinton, Oklahoma. At this leadership development camp, students learn about rural electrification while also having fun swimming, hiking and playing volleyball. Visit the Energy Camp Web site for more info.

Essay topic: Describe ways in which you and your family can conserve energy and why efficiency is important for our energy future.

Requirement: Essays must be typed.

Deadline: Tri-County Electric must receive entries no later than Tuesday, March 15, 2010.
