Animal Enters Interchange Causing Outage
An animal causes outages in the eastern portion of Tri-County Electric's service territory.
In the early morning hours of July 7, ananimal entered the Cole Interchange causing damage and subsequent outages.Substations affected included Balko, Beard, Camrick, Elmwood, Hardesty, Hooker,Ponderosa and Turpin. Approximately 5,000 members were without power from 12:32a.m. with all power restored by 2:32 a.m.
“Thedamage caused by the animal was repaired as soon as possible,” said ZacPerkins, manager of Communications and Member Relations. “Such repairs taketime and we appreciate the patience of our members during the outage.”
