Scholarships

Tri-County Electric promotes two scholarship programs to graduating seniors in its service territory, its own and that of Golden Spread Electric Cooperative.

Tri-County Electric will select four winners from within its service territory. Each scholarship winner will receive a $1,200 scholarship to Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU). The scholarship is paid at $300 each semester for four semesters through the sophomore year at OPSU. The Tri-County Electric scholarship application must be returned to our office by March 30, 2012. The Golden Spread scholarship is $2,000, paid at $500 for each of four semesters through the sophomore year of a college in Texas or Oklahoma. The Golden Spread scholarship application must be returned to The Opportunity Plan Inc., P.O. Box 1035, Canyon, TX 79015. The deadline is March 15, 2012.
